Downtown Umm Al Quwain master plan leads the change with its ambition to change the way the emirate lives. It covers an 11 kilometre waterfront starting from North Beach, Trade Centre to South Beach and forms three areas: namely, North Beach, Trade Centre and South Beach, the company stated. Both zones include housing, business, tourism and leisure units, which together will establish a complete, vibrant community.
The plan includes a 15-million-square-foot Trade Centre, which is to be a free zone with an autonomous legal system.
